Ciel Baptiste is a film photographer from Central Illinois. They graduated from Parkland College in 2025 and are enrolled at the College of Media at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Ciel was selected as a Roger Ebert Fellow for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Their work is permanently on display at Parkland College and has been shown in Immaterial Books' Fields of Vision exhibition. Ciel has been awarded Purchase Awards at Giertz Gallery's Art & Design Student Exhibition in 2024 and 2025.
